Rainbow Mermaids Rally to Win
Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids starter Kip Hill found his groove in his team's 5-3 win over the New Orleans Voodoo. The loss drops New Orleans to 8-7.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Northern Virginia. That's when Rafael García hit a 2-run home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Paul Harris to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Kip went out and did what we needed," said Northern Virginia manager David Lister.
