Warheads Grind Out 2-1 Win
The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish were defeated, 2-1, by the Amarillo Warheads at Ballpark of Henderson, even though Kwang-sub Park pitched well for Plattsburgh. Amarillo reliever Julien Parmentier snagged the win, upping his record to 4-2. Kwang-sub Park shouldered the loss. Kyle Warren nailed down his 11th save.

Lee Spencer had a big 2-run home run for the Warheads in the bottom of the first inning. With Amarillo trailing 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 20-year old left-handed pitcher Kwang-sub Park and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Warheads on top, 2-1.

"The old adage is true," said Spencer. "Good pitching stops good hitting."

With the victory, the Warheads record stands at 34-34.
