Quebec City Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
Starting pitcher Rubén Quintana gave the Quebec City Baby Blues a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Napanee Express, 2-1, at Dylan Park. The hot start continues for the defending champion Baby Blues. This was their 9th win in 11 games.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Quebec City. That's when Grease Zerk, who is tied for 2nd in the 3A- in bases on balls with 10, hit a run-scoring double off Mark Horton to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
"We found a way to win tonight," Zerk said.
