Adkins Shackles North Ft. Myers in 4-0 Sea Dogs Win
|
Maine picked up a win at Dodge Field, bumping off the North Ft. Myers Gators, 4-0. Pitcher Woody Adkins was a major reason the Sea Dogs emerged victorious. Maine, now 9-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.
Adkins, who dominated for Maine, earned the victory to move to 3-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 6 hits over 8.2 innings, while striking out 4. North Ft. Myers batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Everything felt in sync," said Adkins.
