Gators Get One-Run Win at Ellesmere Island
The North Ft. Myers Gators beat the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 5-4, at The Igloo. The Gators got a fine performance from left fielder Rizal Parinas, who went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2. The winning pitcher was Art Lamplighter. He's now 1-0. He went 7.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits for the Gators. John Christensen locked down his 4th save.
