Angel Kitties Post 3-2 Win
|
The Bethlehem Angel Kitties beat the Hicksville Hounds, 3-2. Bethlehem pitcher and Krimpen, The Netherlands, native Remke Wisse led the way. Wisse, the winner, moves to 2-2. He threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 2 walks. Their 28-41 record puts the Angel Kitties 9th in the Silver Low A.
Early in the game, third baseman Winston Gaston had a 2-run home run for Bethlehem. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Angel Kitties on top, 2-0.
After the game, Bethlehem manager Zach Stafford applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
