Plattsburgh Puffer Fish starter Lou Bancroft found his groove in his team's 5-0 win over the Surprise Shockers. Bancroft, now 9-4, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 11 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Plattsburgh bumps their record to 37-33 with the win.

Plattsburgh used a well-timed hit by Tomás Román to capture the win. The second baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Puffer Fish ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
