The Long Island Ducks beat the Napanee Express, 5-1, at Paints Ballpark. Starting pitcher Julián Lucero was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The save went to Tim Thompson, number 2 for him. The win gives Long Island a record of 7-5.

With no one out in the top of the first, Bergin O'Nunan put Long Island in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Ducks went on to win the ballgame.
