The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople defeated the Napanee Express, 5-4, in M3L Low A action at The Igloo. Ellesmere Island pitcher Manny Galván had a standout performance. Ellesmere Island reliever Gabriel Gómez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Victor Griffin took the loss. Napanee is now 7-5.

Ellesmere Island went up, 5-4, on Carlos Solís's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Solís hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Napanee pitcher Victor Griffin shaking his head.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Napanee manager Dan Bond.
