Floundering Rams Lose 9th Straight
|
The Moose Jaw Canucks powered past the Ladue Rams, 8-5, at Foresters Stadium. Gerrie van de Bergh went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. The loss drops Ladue to 3-10.
In the bottom of the eighth, the Canucks grabbed the lead when van de Bergh hit his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Paco Alba made it 8-5, Moose Jaw.
"I want us to come out, have fun, hit some balls, and score. We're having a tough time," said Ricardo Varela, the Ladue manager.
