Padilla Helps Toros Run Win Streak to 5
|
In the 4-1 Tijuana win over Greenport, the impact of Jorge Padilla was substantial. Padilla hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Toros, now 10-3, have been on fire in the early going.
Padilla had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch sinker from Edgardo Silva, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Toros a 4-1 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Padilla.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Padilla told the Tijuana Bulletin.
