Shady Side Zoomies starter Ogai Sugimoto pitched his team past the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish in 11 innings, 3-2. Richard Roche, now 4-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3 innings. With the win, Shady Side goes to 41-33, while the Puffer Fish fall to 40-34.

Shady Side used the timely hitting of Earnest Thomas to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Zoomies on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
