Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Beaumont Crossbeaus and the Capital Hill Interns. Beaumont won it, 1-0. Beaumont starter Craig Chase was in command. The Crossbeaus saw their record improve to 33-41.
Chase was the winner. He's now 4-7, after putting the Capital Hill offense in a vise grip. Over 8 innings, he gave up no runs on 4 hits, while racking up 8 Ks.
