The Watford City Trash Pandas beat the Ogallala Octopi, 6-3, at Trash Panda Field. The Trash Pandas got a fine performance from first baseman Guarçia Solano, who was 3-4 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch. Román Arroyo, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 4.1 innings. The Trash Pandas go to 30-44 with the win.

The Octopi had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Trash Pandas going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old second baseman Jiu-ling Dun came to the plate. Dun hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 fastball from Ogallala hurler António Calderón. It was Dun's 6th double of the year.
