Snowpeople Bump Off Angel Kitties, 4-1

Bethlehem got a decent performance from pitcher Carlos Pereira, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople. Ellesmere Island won the Kittie Park contest, 4-1. Pereira threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Will Stephens, now 7-3, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Ellesmere Island currently is in 4th place in the Silver Low A at 42-33.
Jerome Miller had a productive at-bat in the top of the third inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Ellesmere Island shortstop hit a 2-run single. It made the score 2-0, Snowpeople, and led to the win.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Ellesmere Island skipper Rodrige Margalha.
