The Flint Crush had their hands full with Amarillo Warheads starter Otojiro Kozawa, who frustrated Flint hitters while leading Amarillo to a comfortable, 7-1 win. Kozawa, the winner, moves to 5-7. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 2 walks. The 6th-place Warheads go to 39-36.

Amarillo relied on the bat of Neil Rogers to get the win. The left fielder produced a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Warheads ahead, 5-1. For the game, Rogers had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Kozawa.
