Flint Crush starter Igor Plomp was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the North Ft. Myers Gators, 5-3. The save went to Ken Leach, number 6 for him. The win gives Flint a record of 9-5.
Ed Harris was vital to the Flint win. He was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth with two out, Harris hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 5-3, in favor of the Crush.
"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said North Ft. Myers manager Felipe Palazzola.
