Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Colorado Billy Goats and Ft. Worth Cattlemen.

The Ft. Worth Cattlemen had to reckon with Colorado Billy Goats hurler Chaz Michael-Michaels. Michael-Michaels, who is tied for 5th in the SL with a 8.7 K/9 rate, overwhelmed the opposition in the 6-1 Billy Goats triumph. The winning pitcher was Michael-Michaels, now 4-1. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. James Tucker wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.

The Billy Goats got an important contribution from shortstop Manuel Gómez, who in the top of the fifth punched a 1-0 fastball to right-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Billy Goats ahead, 3-1.
