Slide Continues for Rams
|
In a well-pitched game between the Moose Jaw Canucks and the Ladue Rams, pitcher Joe Woolsey was superb. The Moose Jaw right-hander helped his team win, 1-0. Folkert Spoelstra finished the game for Moose Jaw and earned his 1st save. Now 3-12, the 2061 Rams have sputtered in the early going.
Armando Sandoval had an important at-bat. With no one out in the bottom of the fifth, he hit a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season put Moose Jaw on top, 1-0.
"We need to step it up, period," said an agitated Ladue manager Ricardo Varela.
