The performance of Luis Antonio Herrera proved critical in helping Shady Side beat Maine, 5-3. The Zoomies right fielder was 2 for 3 with a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Stewart Dawson. His record now stands at 5-5. The right-hander went 6.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Zoomies. Shady Side raised its record to 43-33 with the win.
