The Greenport Harbor Whales defeated the North Ft. Myers Gators, 9-2, in M3L Low A action at Dodge Field. Greenport pitcher Plorn Dickens had a standout performance. Dickens yielded 2 runs over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-0. The win takes Greenport to 10-5.

Greenport used the clutch hitting of Guillermo López to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Harbor Whales the lead, 3-1. For the game, López had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
