The Greenport Harbor Whales beat the Napanee Express, 12-7, at Paints Ballpark. An-shi Li, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The winner was Greenport reliever Ángel García, now 1-1. The loser was Beau Davis. Ramón Cesina earned the save for Greenport, his 1st of the year.

Yen-nien Choi helped out the Greenport cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said Greenport manager Mike Brown. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."

The win gives Greenport a record of 8-7.
