Watford City Rallies for 3-1 Win
The Watford City Trash Pandas downed the Ladue Rams, 3-1, at Ballpark of Wellsville. Stellar pitching by Larry Hoskins had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Yong-su Han, 3-4, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Denie Vogelsang recorded the save, making him 10 for 12.

Watford City took the lead, 2-1, on Jim Lamb's 16th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Ladue pitcher Avery Hess in the top of the eighth.

"It's not by accident that Larry finds ways to get outs," said Watford City skipper Emmett Amavizca.

The Trash Pandas raised their record to 30-47.
