Trash Pandas Capture 2-1 Win at Ballpark of Liberty
|
The Watford City Trash Pandas eked out a 2-1 win versus the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 at Ballpark of Liberty. Nobody did more than pitcher Larry Hoskins. He was terrific. Hoskins, the winner, moves to 2-4. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 3 walks. The victory puts Watford City at 29-48.
It could have been a different outcome for Watford City, had it not been for Sotaro Otani, the 20-year old second baseman . Otani contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Watford City up, 2-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Otani.
