North Ft. Myers Drops Another One, 8-1
|
North Ft. Myers had no answer for Flint Crush hurler Armando Guzmán, who overwhelmed Gators hitters as the Crush coasted to victory, 8-1. With the win, Flint climbs to 10-5.
Ed Harris, who is tied for 9th in the 3A- in bases on balls with 8, drew 3 walks in 5 trips to the plate for Flint. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the seventh, Harris came through with a run-scoring walk. It put the Crush in front, 2-1.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Harris told the Flint Chronicle.
