Ducks Reel Off Another Win
Walt Moggs impressed in the 6-4 Long Island win over Greenport. Moggs, who is tied for 2nd in the 3A- in home runs with 5, was 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Long Island pitcher Larry St. John earned the win, hiking his record to 3-1. Allan Novillo suffered the loss. Tim Manning picked up the save, his 4th.

Moggs had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-2 fastball from Steve Moore, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Ducks a 3-1 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Moggs.

"We've got a great group of guys," Moggs said, "and we're having fun right now."

The Harbor Whales drop to 8-8 and continue their mediocre start to the 2062 season.
