The Capital Hill Interns picked up a win at The Igloo, downing the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 4-3. On the mound for Capital Hill was right-hander Jorge Santana, who played a pivotal role in the win. Ed Cook notched his 4th save of the season. The Snowpeople fall to 6-10 and continue their lackluster start to the 2061 season.

Don Reynolds had a direct impact on the outcome. Reynolds contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Capital Hill up, 4-1.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Ellesmere Island manager Gary MacHardy.
