The Pittsburgh Kingfishers defeated the Las Vegas Flamingos, 9-3, at The Strip. Leading the charge for Pittsburgh was first baseman Maikel de Braber. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Nick Snyder earned the win to go to 3-3. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts in 6 innings of work. The Kingfishers move to 20-23 with the win, while the Flamingos drop to 14-29.
With one out in the top of the third, John McGrady put Pittsburgh in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Kingfishers went on to win the ballgame.
