Arup Sreekanthan never let the Zoomies get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Warheads to a win, 2-1. Amarillo has now won 4 games in a row.

Amarillo used the clutch hitting of Artie Rice to snag the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Warheads ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.

Amarillo manager José López commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
