The Capital Hill Interns got a superb performance from pitcher Rod Pierce, but the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople still won the game, 6-3. Pierce threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball. For the Interns, the loss makes them 7-11.

Ellesmere Island got a jolt from Zai-shuo Ou-yang. The catcher ripped a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it brought the house down.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Ou-yang said.
