Baby Blues Turn Back Ladue, 3-2

Quebec City beat Ladue on the strength of starting pitcher Brit Hughes's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. Ladue now is 5-14.
Quebec City got a lift in the bottom of the fourth from right fielder Juan Ramírez, who hit a fastball to left for a solo home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Baby Blues up, 3-2.
"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Ramírez.
