The Flint Crush defeated the Capital Hill Interns by the score of 11-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Ed Harris. Harris belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Crush on the day. Armando Guzmán got the win, improving to 2-2. He held the Interns to 1 run on 5 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 9 and walking 2. Flint has an impressive 14-6 record.
Harris had a key at-bat for Flint in the top of the first. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave Flint an early 3-0 lead.
