Crush Make It 10 in a Row with 6-4 Win

The Flint Crush topped the Capital Hill Interns, 6-4, in M3L Low A action at Alouettes Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Flint pitcher and Nairobi, Kenya, native Labaan Makwangwala. Greg Bradford picked up the save for Flint, his 4th of the year. Flint has now won 10 games in a row.
Flint won the game in part because of Florante Berbasa. The left fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Crush ahead, 2-1. For the game, Berbasa had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
"Everything seems to be clicking right now for us, top to bottom," said Flint manager Michael Woodard.
