A 3-RBI performance from center fielder Rob Banks, who is tied for 7th in the SL in triples with 2, led the Mexico City Blue Demons to a win over the St. Louis Coeur, 9-2. Doug Santamarina picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-4. He struck out 4 in 6.1 innings. The win makes Mexico City 28-16.

Kuniyoshi Kodo hit a run-scoring triple off George Washington in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Blue Demons in front, 1-0. In addition to the triple, Kodo had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
