The Quebec City Baby Blues defeated the Shady Side Zoomies, 5-2, in M3L Low A action at Terriers Ballpark. Quebec City pitcher Olaf Blees had a standout performance. Matt Whitfield finished the game for Quebec City and earned his 1st save. The losses continue to mount for Shady Side, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

The Baby Blues benefited from a costly error in the top of the third. With Edgar Zwarthoed at bat and Quebec City leading 1-0, the Shady Side miscue allowed Quebec City to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.

"We've hit a lull," said Shady Side manager Ralph Gilbert.
