Torres Delivers Walk-Off Win for Crossbeaus
The Beaumont Crossbeaus picked up a win at The Target, knocking off the Amarillo Warheads, 7-4. Starting pitcher Carlos Herrera played a key role in the triumph. Beaumont reliever Matthew Hardcastle got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Ken Leach was tagged with the loss. Beaumont now owns a record of 44-44.

Beaumont got a knockout punch from Alfonso Torres. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Torres.
