The Maine Sea Dogs weathered an outstanding game by Flint second baseman William White to topple the Crush, 3-2. White was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. The last-place Crush have lost 7 straight games.
Jelle Michielsen had a direct impact on the outcome. Michielsen contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Maine up, 2-0.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Michielsen told the Maine Daily News.
