The Dayton Dirty Reds beat the Baltimore Bullets, 4-3. Dayton pitcher and Lukang, Taiwan, native Yin-reng Fong led the way. Fong got the win, improving to 4-5. He allowed 7 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Fong allowed 3 runs. The save was credited to Peter O'Farrell, his 9th.

George McLean, the 32-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. McLean contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Dayton up, 3-0.

"Both teams played hard," said Dayton manager David Dodds.

The victory makes Dayton 15-29.
