The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople topped the Long Island Ducks, 8-6, in M3L Low A action at Ducks Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Ellesmere Island second baseman Jerome Miller. Desmond Dean earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 4 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. The save was credited to Steven Cowan, his 4th.

Ellesmere Island relied on the bat of Earnest Wright to get the win. The center fielder produced a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Snowpeople ahead, 6-5. For the game, Wright had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
