|
The Bethlehem Angel Kitties stopped the Quebec City Baby Blues, 4-2, behind an impressive performance from Cameron Chenoweth. The 19-year old second baseman made life miserable for Quebec City pitching. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. Bethlehem is last in the Menard's Low A with a record of 7-16.
Bethlehem relied on the bat of Chris Thomas to get the win. The third baseman produced a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Angel Kitties ahead, 3-0. For the game, Thomas had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
Afterward, Angel Kitties manager Zach Stafford said, "We had some good at-bats, some big at-bats in some key situations."
