The 3-hit performance of Lau-po Ge helped the Hudsonville Flanderses beat the Maine Sea Dogs, 7-2. The 7th-place Flanderses are 43-47.

Terry Heathcote cracked a home run off Haden Manning in the bottom of the second. His 3-run blast put the Flanderses on top, 3-0. In all, Heathcote had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"We understand we didn't play our best baseball," said losing manager José Rodríguez. "We'll shower it off and be ready to compete."
