The Northwest Territory Beavers picked up a win at Nebraska Aquarium, downing the Ogallala Octopi, 3-2. On the mound for Northwest Territory was right-hander Jorge Flores, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Beavers now own a record of 48-43.

Northwest Territory used the hitting of Kyushichi Suzuki to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Beavers on top, 3-0. For the game, Suzuki had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"Both teams played hard," said Northwest Territory manager Robert Acker.
