The Flint Crush beat the Redwood Rhinos by a score of 7-6. Flint catcher Yic Hsi deserved the lion's share of the credit. Hsi went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Crush. Flint is in 7th place in the Silver Low A with a record of 47-44.

Flint used the timely hitting of Arturo Martínez to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Crush on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

Martínez called the triumph "a good team win."
