Harbor Whales 3-1 Winners Over Ellesmere Island

The Greenport Harbor Whales welcomed the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople to an afternoon game at Ballpark of Robbins.
Greenport turned a good effort from starter Rob Harvey into a win over the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople at Ballpark of Robbins. The Harbor Whales won the game, 3-1. Harvey yielded 1 run over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 4-1. Picking up the save was Haden Charles, his 1st.
The Harbor Whales had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 3-1, Greenport, with one out. Ellesmere Island, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Ognjeslav Svabic dug in at the plate, but on a 1-1 fastball, he hit into a double play.
