Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Baby Lakers
The Bompton Baby Lakers and Watford City Trash Pandas completed their game despite the inclement weather.

No one was more impactful than Roy Elliott in the 3-1 Bompton win over Watford City. Elliott, who is tied for 7th in the SA- with a .491 slugging percentage, was 4-4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Bompton pitcher Zhi-jan Wu earned the win, hiking his record to 2-4. Sergio Árias suffered the loss.

Bompton took a 2-1 lead on Elliott's 15th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Sergio Árias in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Bompton to the win.
