Beaumont turned a fine outing from starter Chris Hutchins into a victory over the Maine Sea Dogs at Sea Dogs Park. The final score was 4-2. Mario García earned the save for Beaumont, his 24th of the year. Beaumont has now won 4 straight.

Beaumont used a clutch at-bat from Jian-guo Cuan to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Crossbeaus ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
