The Maine Sea Dogs defeated the Moose Jaw Canucks, 2-1, in M3L Low A action at Foresters Stadium. Maine pitcher Jeremy Clarke had a standout performance. This loss makes it 8 in a row for Moose Jaw.
Michael Payne came through with a big-time hit for Maine. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Clarke.
