Tijuana picked up a win at Toros Ballpark, bumping off the Amarillo Warheads, 8-3. Pitcher Doug Mahoney was a major reason the Toros emerged victorious. At 54-39, Tijuana is in third place in the Silver Low A.

Center Fielder Brian Wolf made an impact for Tijuana, when he swatted a 2-run triple off Arup Sreekanthan in the bottom of the first. For the contest, Wolf was 3-5 with a triple and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Doug was really on it," said Tijuana manager Derek Jones. "He's got a feel for playing with the hitter front-to-back, side-to-side."
