Baby Blues Earn Late Win
|
The Quebec City Baby Blues picked up a win at Dylan Park, knocking off the Long Island Ducks, 4-3. Starting pitcher Mike McGuire played a key role in the triumph. The Quebec City win streak is now 3 games.
El Llano, Honduras-born Emílio Romero came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Baby Blues trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single to left to put Quebec City on top.
"I just trusted my stuff," said McGuire.
