Flint Wins, 3-2, in Extra Innings
|
Starting pitcher Ching Xue gave the Flint Crush a rock-solid effort. The Taipei, Taiwan native helped his team defeat the Watford City Trash Pandas, 3-2, at Flint Park. The Crush now own a record of 39-54.
Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 21-year old first baseman Su-chang Yi had a chance to be the hero. Watford City pitcher Iván Trevizo had other ideas. But with one out, Yi drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Crush had themselves a dramatic win.
"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Xue.
