Angel Kitties Squelch Interns Offense in Shutout Win
The Bethlehem Angel Kitties downed the Capital Hill Interns, 5-0, at Alouettes Ballpark. Stellar pitching by Lee Kennedy had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2060 draft, handcuffed his opponent all game. Kennedy, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing no runs. The win gives the Angel Kitties a record of 9-17.

Chris Thomas had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for Bethlehem. With the bases loaded and the Angel Kitties leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"I thought we played a nice game," Thomas told the Bethlehem Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
