The Tijuana Toros topped the Ladue Rams, 6-4, at Ballpark of Wellsville. Tijuana catcher Luis Guillén was a spark plug for the offense. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Picking up the win was Finley Keirl. He went 9 innings, allowing 4 runs on 3 hits. The right--hander struck out 5 and walked 3. The win puts Tijuana at 36-58.

Tijuana used a well-timed hit by Glen Lowe to capture the win. The shortstop socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Toros ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
