|
The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Dustin Moreno into a win. Instead, the Flint Crush prevailed, 2-1, in 10 innings. Moreno threw 7.0 innings allowing 1 run. Flint is now 40-55.
The Crush got a clutch hit from first baseman Grégory Garcia. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Crush.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Garcia told the Flint Chronicle.
